With 1 in 4 women and 1 in 6 men experience domestic abuse within their lifetime. Refuge services are vital to protect victims of domestic abuse and their children. Haven Domestic Abuse Service (previously known as Boston Women's Aid SoLDAS) offers refuge accommodation for up to 17 adults and 48 children at any one time, 365 days per year, 24 hours per day. 

Unfortunately, domestic abuse makes no exceptions at Christmas and our support services tend to be heavily in demand at this time of year. 

This year we are holding our 5th Christmas Jumper Day on Thursday 11th December 2025 to raise much needed funds for children living in refuge accommodation. Imagine leaving your home and arriving at a place you do not know anyone, with nothing but the clothes you are standing in. We want to make Christmas as magical as possible for our families and with your extra help we will be able to provide them with the lovely little touches and gifts that every child deserves.
